Surrendering

 

 

The Humane Society of Seneca County tries to accept any animal in need, within the county. We offer a safe place for anyone to bring their pet, for any reason.
There is no charge to surrender an animal to us, but it is required you fill out a surrender form at the time of surrender. This allows us to gather information about the pet to better able us to educate potential adopters about the pet. We accept dogs, cats, and small pocket animals. We will also do our best to help you find a home for other animals and unconventional pets.
We accept surrenders anytime during our open hours as space allows. Calling ahead better prepares us for the arrival of a new guest.
At the time of surrender, please have a valid photo ID. You may not surrender any animal that does not legally belong to you.
